With the recent news regarding Grand Theft Auto V and a new gen release, we've decided we should let you know how we're going to handle the transition to Xbox One.
Knowing that all of our members are currently playing Grand Theft Auto V on the Xbox 360, with few or none owning an Xbox One just yet, we're planning on continuing to use the Xbox 360 as our primary source for events. As time rolls along we expect that some of our members will upgrade to the new system, and we'll likely pick up members who are interested in playing on the Xbox One as opposed to the Xbox 360.
We'll also likely be updating our custom game modes for the Xbox One. With the 30 player lobbies coming to the new consoles, we'll need to add more gear for our officers and civilians to start off with in an event.
Today, Rockstar also confirmed that while players can play Online on both old and new generation platforms, progress gained after players transfer their characters to the new platforms will not cross back over, meaning that while you'll have the same character, the progress you make on Xbox One won't go back to that same character on your Xbox 360/PS3.
We're getting much closer to the release! And once again, we've got a new teaser for your, this time featuring a new screenshot direct from Rockstar!
Enjoy,
LSNP Crew
